Below are some of the activities that the MOMS Club® offers: 

 

Coffee Breaks
Join other moms for a cup of your favorite coffee and perhaps a pastry. This event is perfect for moms with kids in school who find themselves with extra time or for moms who just want to get out and socialize with the kids. We often visit different coffee houses in the area, but sometimes we just meet at each other's houses to enjoy some time together. 

Field Trips and Outings
Members regularly schedule outings that both moms and children enjoy such as trips to Hershey Chocolate World or Zoo America, library story times, stroller walks in the mall, visits to local farms, or lunch outings. There may also be special tours of local stores, such as art stores where the children can make their own creations after getting a behind-the-scenes look at how these places run. 

Member Monthly Meetings

Each month, members get together to discuss old and new business, talk about upcoming events/activities, socialize, help kids with a fun craft, and/or hear experts discuss topics of interest to mothers such as home organization, exercise after a baby, and nutrition. This is a great way to get to know the other members of the Club and learn about what will be happening in the upcoming month.

Moms' Night Out
Every mom needs a break, so once a month a mom volunteers to "host" our Moms' Night Out. Whether it's dinner, bowling, a movie, or just a simple scrapbooking or game night, we all look forward to this event and the opportunity to relax and enjoy each other's company. 

 

Monthly Brunch

Every month, a member of the Club graciously opens up her home and hosts a pot-luck brunch for all of the members. Being one of our most popular events, this is a wonderful opportunity for the children to play together, for the moms to catch up with each other and for everyone to enjoy some delicious food. We always have a great time socializing and enjoying each others' company.

 

Park Days and Play Dates
Members love to get out to the area parks by scheduling park days. Members also host play dates at their homes. Past themed play dates have included bike and trike days, cookie decorating, craft days and just simple playdates based on children's ages.   

Parties and Family Events
Our club regularly schedules parties around the holidays as well as fun family events, such as summer BBQs and pancake breakfasts. These family events are especially nice because the dads and partners are able to participate and get to know others as well.

 

Board Member & Coordinator Positions
The MOMS Club® of Harrisburg - West Shore is run by volunteer members of the Club. If you would decide to become a part of this wonderful chapter, please consider volunteering for a position. Volunteering is a great way to get involved in the chapter, meet and become close with other members, and to help shape the chapter.  

 

The Executive Board is made up of:  President, Administrative Vice President, Membership Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. The Chair positions include: Activities Chair, Newsletter Editor, Helping Hands Coordinator and Historian, as well as a variety of others that are appointed as the need arises.  If you are interested in more information about volunteering for a position, please contact us.
